Chorale Tour to Cedar Falls
The ACC Chorale had a successful, fun tour to Cedar Falls on Saturday, October 24, 2009. They had a sharing time with the Northern Iowa Children’s Choir who will come to Ames in April, 2010 for our Celebrate Singing Choral Festival. The Chorale had a special opportunity to perform in Davis Hall in the Gallagher-Bluedorn Performing Arts Center on the UNI Campus. We are proud of how well they sang.
Congratulations to Rachel Paxton, Dylan Larson-Konar, and Grace Warren on being selected to sing in the 2009 All-State Chorus. All three are alumni of the Ames Children’s Choirs and were the only singers to be selected from Ames High School! The All-State Festival concert will be held in Hilton Coliseum in Ames on November 21, 2009 at 7:30 pm.
